August 8th: Summer Reading Concert/Party with Andy Mason
Andy plays some of his favorite songs for you to celebrate the completion of the Imagine Your Story Summer Reading Program 2020! Summer Reading Program prize pickup starts after the party at 12 noon, August 8th at Southside Branch Library. Grand prize winners will be drawn prior and contacted by a library representative. Summer Reading participants can stop by the Southside Branch Library during Curbside Pickup hours (noon to 5:30 p.m.) for the first 2 weeks of prize claiming (Sat. Aug. 8; Tuesday, Aug. 11; Weds., Aug. 12; Thurs., Aug. 13; Sat., Aug. 15; Tues., Aug. 18; Weds., Aug. 19; Thurs., Aug. 20). Starting on Saturday, August 22, remaining prize pickups will be available at all three SFPL locations. The grand prize winners have been drawn and will be contacted by a library representative! The Santa Fe Public Library would like to thank our participants of all ages and all of our wonderful weekly performers and storytellers for being a part of our first virtual Summer Reading Program! As a storyteller, Matilde believes in the ‘magic power of stories.’ Children and their families will spend a magical hour with her as she weaves stories to capture the imagination. Her stories are influenced by the magical realism of Latin America.

Jojo Ulibarri is an animal conservationist. Her Peace Pets Exotic Animal Rescue program allows children and their families to learn about the animals she rescues, to reduce the fear of these exotic animals, and develop compassion for animals in need of rescue and rehabilitation.

Combining archeology, action, adventure, ancient legends, mythology and folklore, Indy thrills and educates audiences with his unique storytelling abilities. Indy weaves stories for students, families, sci-fi lovers and museum goers alike.
June 26th: Rocky Mountain Puppets
In "The Great Fairytale Mythtree" Meghan and her puppet friend Aidan come across a glowing book wrapped with a lock but no key. They embark on an adventure to solve one of the greatest fairy-tale mysteries of all time. Solving this mystery will be challenging and it will require everyone to use their imagination to stay out of danger. The last thing you'd want to do is follow a trail of marshmallows in the forest that leads to a gingerbread house…
